It’s Very Funny How Many Boats Sank During Trump’s Stupid Boat Parade
A boat also caught on fire.
A boat parade in Texas organised to show support for Donald Trump has ended with several boats sinking.
In what some might call a “metaphor come to life”, a boat parade in Texas organised to show support for Donald Trump in the upcoming election has ended with at least four of the boats sinking. The event, called the “Lake Travis Trump boat parade” (catchy), saw a procession of boats with Trump flags and banners head out onto the water.
It wasn’t long before some of the boats hit trouble, started being swamped by waves, and then began sinking. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they’d received distress calls.
TCSO responded to multiple calls involving boats in distress during the Trump parade on Lake Travis. Several boats did sink.

Footage of the boats started circulating social media, with many offering comment on the situation. I couldn’t possibly say if this footage is funny or not, but it is important to know that no injuries were reported. It’s just vocal Trump supporters, on boats they own, slowly sinking.

There was also footage purportedly from a different lake and boat parade that was happening at the same time, showing a boat on fire.

The hashtag #dumbkirk started trending, and the theory that it was the bigger boats causing the rough waves on the lake came to the fore.
Last tweet about #Dumbkirk before I give it a rest, but apparently a lot of the smaller boats sank because bigger boats were driving fast enough to create huge wakes without caring about how they harmed the small boats that followed them… is the metaphor sinking in yet

Making the whole thing even funnier is that some conservatives are attempting to blame the sinking on some sort of left-wing attack, instead of the bunch of losers on a lake.
