We Are In Love With These Very Good Dogs Dressed Up For #AusMusicTShirtDay
As always, dogs just do it better.
Every year in November, as part of ABC’s Ausmusic Month, bands and fans alike shimmy into their favourite band merch for Ausmusic T-Shirt Day.
It’s all to raise funds for the charity Support Act, which helps musicians, crew, and anyone else in the music industry that’s experiencing financial hardship due to injury, ill health, or mental illness. Getting to wear your favourite threads will supporting the acts you love? We simply have to stan.
This year, the efforts are looking good so far: ABC News Breakfast host Michael Rowland sported a Midnight Oil tee on the show this morning, and former triple j breakfast presenter Liam Stapleton decided to just wear all the shirts he could find…

Happy #ausmusictshirtday don’t be a nerd and support one band. Challenge yourself.
But the best efforts, by far, are from the folks that looked at their dog this morning and thought, ‘Yeah, I can stick you in a t-shirt’. There’s been some solid statements so far: Gary the greyhound is rocking Velociraptor, Sally’s gone with Nick Cave, Angel has slipped into a slick Ball Park Music shirt, and Baymax the husky has gone with Trophy Eyes.
As Lady Gaga once said: Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, never the same, totally unique. See our favourites below, and when you’re done, go donate to Support Act.
