Travis Scott “Released” A Maccas Meal And It’s Become A Massive Meme
"Ate the Travis Scott burger and now I speak in auto tune."
Travis Scott has had a long and acclaimed career, full of highs — he’s topped the charts around the world, toured with some of his heroes, and recorded a song for Tenet, one of the biggest movies of the year.
But all such highlights pale in comparison to his newest achievement, creating his own meal at McDonald’s.
Well, “creating” is probably something of an overstatement. In reality, Scott’s own regular McDonald’s order is now being sold as its own meal. There are no special menu items being created; the ‘Travis Scott Meal’ is actually just a package deal on a modified Quarter Pounder burger, featuring bacon and lettuce, and hot chips, barbecue sauce, and Sprite. But hey, that’s still impressive, as is the advert that accompanied the announcement, featuring a stop motion Travis Scott.
Moreover, the meal itself has been pretty well received. Living meme, fast food reviewer and YouTube superstar ReviewBrah, AKA The Report Of The Week, has given it a thumbs up in a long video, where he particularly compliments the lettuce. And that video alone has ratcheted up almost a million views, proving how popular this whole escapade has been.
But crucially, because this is 2020, the entire enterprise has also kicked off a flood of memes. That’s good news for McDonald’s, who have long been struggling to connect with younger generations, and that’s good news for anyone who likes jokes about rapper-themed burgers.

And that’s not all to the story, either. Scott also celebrated the deal by selling his own extremely rank “nugget pillow”, a full body pillow shaped like, you guessed it, a chicken nugget.
