Warner Bros have dropped the first trailer for their upcoming adaptation of It, and I hope you weren’t planning on sleeping ever again because it ain’t gonna happen.
The new big screen take on Stephen King’s seminal horror novel stars Bill Skarsgård as the eponymous pronoun, a murderous entity stalking the children of Derry, Maine in the form of Pennywise the Clown. Among his prospective victims, Finn Wolfhart of Stranger Things fame, who is really cashing in on this whole ’80s nostalgia thing, hey?
Seriously though, if you have a thing about clowns, walk away from this right the fuck now.
It comes creeping into theatres in the US on September 8.
