The music video is DEEPLY disturbing.

Sydney DJ Tom Budin has dropped the perfect track for today’s NSW election: a brutal roast of Gladys Berejiklian complete with a music video that, ironically, plays like something out of a drug-fuelled nightmare.

Fittingly titled ‘Gladys Berejiklian’, the song drags the Premier over her opposition to pill-testing as well as new festival licencing rules that have led to accusations that the state government is waging a “war on music”.

“She teams up with the cops / Gets everyone arrested,” the song begins. “Why you think they dying? / ‘Cause they don’t want a criminal record.”

The music video, meanwhile, focuses on a creepy-looking Berejiklian with silver hands (aka Gladys Berejiklihands) as she dances around outside the Star Casino and fondles an Opal reader.

Like I said, it’s fucking weird.

In a Facebook post accompanying the music video, Budin accuses Berejiklian of pushing policies that are “backwards” and “downright atrocious”, and of demonstrating “a reckless disrespect to artists and all those involved in the music industry in NSW”.

“It’s been going on for too long and we are ready for change,” he adds.

The post concludes with a call to arms urging people to vote. “Sydney needs to change,” Budin declares. “If you want to see Sydney revived, please re-think and do not vote Liberal”.

The NSW election is happening today. If you live in the state and haven’t voted yet (and don’t want a massive fine), you can find your local polling place here.
