Hey! Did you know The Simpsons is still releasing episodes? Well, they are.

It’s, iconically, the 666th episode of The Simpsons, which would be a really great time to end things! Just one person’s opinion! And in a great spooky confluence, the new episode is the latest in the ‘Treehouse of Horror’ series, The Simpsons’ homage to all things horror. And that episode just happens to signify THIRTY YEARS OF ‘TREEHOUSE OF HORROR’.

That’s right — 30 years of ‘Treehouse of Horror’. Feel old? The first Treehouse of Horror was released in 1990, and quickly established the fan-favourite series.

The ‘Treehouse Of Horror’ Halloween specials honestly are some of the best episodes in the entire, long run of the show.
