This is a match that goes way back: after Miley Cyrus had a rough start to the year, she found the psychedelic music of The Flaming Lips helped her get through living on her own for the first time. Since then, Cyrus has performed with frontman Wayne Coyne on her Bangerz tour, recorded a “completely weird” version of ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’, and taken that weirdness to a whole new level with this NSFW video.

Explaining the video, titled ‘Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain’ to Rolling Stone, Coyne said: “Moby is an evil, power-hungry cult leader. He wants the world’s most valuable (according to our story) psychedelic supernatural possession… John F. Kennedy’s brain….the brain contains the original formula for the drug LSD!!!”

Cyrus is in possession of this magic brain, and has the brain stolen off her by a “blonde superfreak” enlisted by Moby while in a drug induced coma. When she wakes up Miley is “mega-pissed”. (Oh and the Lips play some “powerful rainbows from hell”). Really, could we expect any different from such a collaboration?
