A Trailer For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ Just Dropped And We’re Sold

Ooft, remember movies? If you’ve forgotten, they were a thing we enjoyed before the world went all pandemic eleganza. Anyway — one of the more hyped movies we’ve been looking forward to is Robert Pattinson as The Batman.

And DC just dropped us a teaser-trailer.

It’s looking like we’re getting some more grim-dark Batman realness with this film, and while I’m pretty sceptical of DC’s big emo energy usually, I think it works here. Batman is not meant to be a kind of genial Ben Affleck figure who seems politely confused about his own cape. He’s meant to be a goddamn psychopath who gets things done.

“What the hell are you mean to be?” asks a goon.

“I’m vengeance” answers Batman, before going violent and hogwild. Here for it. Go ‘head girl, give us everything.

It looks like we’ve got The Riddler as the main baddie, and there’s also a couple of shots of the Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman, and it all looks good. I’m hyped for Robert Pattinson as The Batman. I mean, it’s been so long since i’ve seen a film in the cinema, I might get scared if a train looks like it’s coming towards us, but even ignoring that, I’m bloody keen!

Watch the trailer below. It just says that we’re getting the film some time in 2021, and I respect that level of truthful vacillating, because 2021 seems a wild concept.
