Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming documentary series Conversation with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, featuring never-before-heard jailhouse recordings of America’s most infamous serial killer.

Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Joe Berlinger, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed Paradise Lost trilogy about the West Memphis Three, the four-part series will draw from more than 100 hours of unreleased audio recorded by a pair of journalists during interviews with Bundy on death row in 1980.

“I’m not an animal, I’m not crazy, I don’t have a split personality,” says Bundy in one particularly chilling snippet of audio featured in the trailer. “I mean I’m just a normal individual.”

Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes hits Netflix on January 24, the 30th anniversary of Bundy’s execution.
