Last Friday, Taylor Swift released ‘You Need To Calm Down‘ — the second single from her upcoming album, Lover, and also a useless instruction to her fans.

The internet melted down, of course, with most of the attention focused on one curious line in the track:  “You just need to take several seats and then try to restore the peace/And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate/‘Cause shade never made anybody less gay.”

The reaction was mixed: some misguided fans called it a gay anthem, while others were just very, very, confused. Was Taylor pivoting to gay? Was this a comment on her own sexuality, or just a Pride month special?

Whatever the real reason, Taylor’s now leaning very heavily into her new queer aesthetic, rounding up just about every queer celebrity on the planet for the new music vid for ‘You Need To Calm Down’, including the Queer Eyes guys, Laverne Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Adam Rippon, RuPaul, Hannah Hart, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Adam Lambert, Todrick Hall, Hayley Kiyoko, and Billy freaking Porter.

It’s…a lot. Watch the video below.
