It's an incredibly stressful first look, too.

Gird your loins, Succession hive, because we finally, finally have our first look at Season 4!

You may have remembered that we last left the Roy family on a particularly biblical note: old Tom Wambsgans (Matthew McFadyen) had just given his wife Shiv (Sarah Snook) the kiss of Judas after it emerged he was this one to warn his terrifying father-in-law (Brian Cox) of the imminent coup headed his way; sabotaging the Roy siblings’ plans to take control of their father’s company.

We left the Roy siblings to have their respective meltdowns back at the end of Season 3, and we’ve heard very little from them since. But we kind of miss them, don’t you?

While it feels like a lifetime ago, we actually only left these privileged idiots to their own devices ten months ago, so we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve finally been gifted a well-deserved sneak peek of Season 4.

It’s about ten seconds long, but a glorious (and stressful) ten seconds nonetheless.

“I’m going to build something better, faster, meaner, wilder,” a fired-up Logan Roy roars in the trailer like a kind of maniacal dictator, as Tom Wambsgans hovers by his side. The Roy kids aren’t in the shot, but we see close-ups of the four in various states of disarray in what some may call Euphoria lighting.

I think we can all agree that Succession is at its best when Logan Roy is on his Machiavellian bullshit to the point of nearing a heart attack and the Roy siblings are falling apart at the seams, so this all bodes well for a masterful Season 4.

We don’t yet know exactly when the new season will drop, but we do know it’s dropping next year. In the meantime: action stations!
