If you spent the last few months asking “Kiki, do you love me?”, then you were in good company.

Drake’s Scorpion cut ‘In My Feelings’ — which spawned a bizarre and dangerous internet challenge — has just taken out the #1 spot in Spotify’s annual Songs of Summer ranking, with a total stream count of over 393 million in the period from June 1 to August 30. Which is….a lot.

New York rapper Cardi B features in the #2 and #3 tracks, with her Maroon 5 collab ‘Girls Like You’ sneaking in just before ‘I Like It’ — the latter of which, tbh, as much as we love Cardi, just ain’t right. The rest of the top ten sees entries from Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa (with ‘One Kiss’), Clean Bandit (with ‘Solo), and Post Malone (‘Better Now’).

It’s pretty much the Drake show for the remainder of the top 20, with his tracks ‘God’s Plan’, ‘Nice For What’, ‘Don’t Matter To Me’, and ‘Nonstop’ all making it into the ranking. The only Australians to make the cut are Sydney crew 5 Seconds of Summer, who make it in at #10 with ‘Youngblood’.

And yes, obviously we realise that it’s winter down here, but still…the ranking stands.
