Splendour in the Grass revealed their 2018 line-up this morning, with Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and Vampire Weekend locked in as the big three headliners for the Byron fest.

More excitingly, they’ve now dropped the day-by-day line-ups for the festival — so we can get a better idea of just how Splendour 2018 is going to shape up. But of all three days, which line-up comes out on top? Let’s have a gander.

Lorde is handling headline duties on the opening Friday night, with R&B hitmakers Khalid and Miguel scheduled to appear right before her. There’s also a fair whack of rock, including Black Flag veteran Henry Rollins, LA hardcore outfit The Bronx, UK act Marmozets, and local thrash lords DZ Deathrays.

Dance fans won’t be put off either: Touch Sensitive, Nina Las Vegas, Chromeo, LO’99 and Alice Ivy will all be stepping up to the decks on the Mix-Up stage. There’s also some nice hip-hop talent too: Manu Crook$ and Baker Boy will both deliver their sets on Friday.

Saturday is a big one for Aussie acts, with Sydney favourites Gang of Youths set to reprise their phenomenal 2016 performance in the Amphitheatre, and fellow locals Amy Shark, Hilltop Hoods, Alex Lahey, Methyl Ethel, and the Jungle Giants all scheduled to appear. Saturday will also see the first major Australian performance from ‘About You‘ hitmaker G Flip, who’s making her Splendour debut. As for the headliner? It’s New York indie kings Vampire Weekend.

Sunday has Kendrick Lamar stepping onto the Splendour stage for the very first time (it’ll also be Australian audiences will hear DAMN. up close and personal.) His previous support act, Sampa the Great, is also locked down for Sunday — making it a great day out for hip-hop heads. Dance fans will have MGMT, Pnau, and Girl Talk to look forward to, while indie lovers get The Wombats, Ben Howard, Ball Park Music, and Middle Kids.

There’s a huge amount of variety across each day’s line-ups, but we reckon Friday will give you the most bang for your buck. Check out the full day-by-day line-ups below.

Splendour in the Grass will take place at North Byron Parklands from Friday July 20 to Sunday July 22 . Tickets are on sale Thursday April 19 at 9am.
