Buckle in, because Disney has released their second trailer for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story, giving us a big look at the next standalone film in the massive Star Wars franchise. And it’s actually looking very cool.

Solo is basically the backstory of everyone’s favourite loveable rogue turned rebel turned hero, Han Solo, following his youthful foray into galactic crime. As evidenced from previous trailers, the film seems to be following a kind of space heist format.

The latest trailer basically zeroes in on some of the specifics of the story, as well as showing us the players in this futuristic Ocean’s 11. We get to see Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) recruited for the mysterious crime, potentially by Qi’Ra (Emilia Clarke) and Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson). Also joining the team is the suave Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) and a sassy robot. It seems very Star Wars.

Like 2016’s Rogue Onethis is a film that is disconnected from the big trilogy narrative like The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi telling a self-contained story within the larger world that’s already been established.

The film has been under quite a bit of scrutiny since the film’s publicised production problems, which included its original directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord getting fired halfway through filming. Extensive reshoots followed the hiring of the new director,  Ron Howard.

But, to paraphrase Han Solo himself, the latest trailers have got a lot of people having a really good feeling about the new film.
