After six miserable long years away from home, Adelaide-born superstar and owner of one amazing goddamn wig Sia is bringing her ‘Nostalgic for the Present’ tour to Australia and New Zealand at the end of this year.

Teased on Thursday with a Facebook video simply captioned “Australia + New Zeland – 28 May”, Sia’s Antidpodean tour was officially confirmed this morning for Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

While she started ‘Nostalgic for the Present’ in the US last year, this will be the first time Sia has toured her home country since 2011. Support acts for the local leg include Charli XCX, and fellow Aussie Amy Shark, with New Zealand acts still to be finalised.

In the six years between hometown gigs, Sia’s profile has exploded, releasing two huge album (2014’s 1000 Forms of Fear and 2016’s This Is Acting), appearing on Saturday Night Live, and even rocking along to Carpool Karaoke with massive nerd James Corden.

Surprising no one, news of her return has flipped fans the fuck out. More surprising is that the news has ignited a #LatinAmericaNeedsSia hashtag; apparently she is huge there. Seriously, check out the Twitter replies to Sia’s announcement, it is flooded with calls.

Pre-sales for the November and December shows are set for Tuesday June 6, with general on sale set for Wednesday June 7. You can find out more via the Australia and New Zealand tour pages.

And if half a year is too long to wait for a Sia fix, check out her recently released contribution to the Wonder Woman soundtrack, ‘To Be Human’ (get it? Because Wonder Woman is an Amazonian warrior princess and is much better than us mere humans?).
