Short Stack Are Heading Out For A Massive 2020 Reunion Tour
Sway sway, baby!
It’s been almost five long years since we heard from Short Stack, the pop-punk three-piece that changed Australian music — and Australian hairstyles — forever. But now, the wait is finally over: the band has announced a massive reunion tour.
Short Stack first burst onto the scene with the release of Stack Is The New Black, back in 2009. In no small part thanks to the success of lead single ‘Sway, Sway Baby!’, the album became an instant classic, placing high on the ARIA charts and certifying their place in Aussie pop.
Over the next three years, the band continued to hone their sound — until suddenly, seemingly out of the blue, they announced their dissolution. “Dear friends, as you may be aware, Stack is no more,” read the heartbreaking message posted to the band’s Facebook and Twitter, shattering the hearts of thousands of young fans through the country.
Of course, that break-up was never going to last forever. Briefly reforming in 2015, the band are now back in a big way, playing a string of shows across the country.
A Frontier touring pre-sale opens on Monday February 10. The general public sale opens Thursday February 13 at 2pm.
Support will be provided by Between You & Me.
