Seth Rogen Shut Down “All Lives Matter” Assholes On His Instagram, And We Love To See It
And THAT is how you use your white privilege for good.
Seth Rogen has always been a pretty good celeb, never shying away from the important matters that need to be spoken about.
The actor often uses his influence and platform to campaign for issues like amnesty for those in Canada serving time for cannabis-related offences to creating a whole charity to engage millennials in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
So it’s no surprise that when Black Lives Matter protests for George Floyd started, Seth Rogen used his platform to share his thoughts.
First posting on Twitter, Seth faced backlash for expressing his opinions on those who inadvertently help to keep racist systems in place — a reference to those who are against the current George Floyd protests and riots, and are pro-police.
Always be more critical of the people upholding the racist system than the ones who are fighting against it.

Deciding that Twitter wasn’t enough, Seth then took to Instagram yesterday to post a simple black and yellow photo that read “Black Lives Matter”. Along with the image, Seth captioned the photo: “If this is a remotely controversial statement to you, feel free to unfollow me”.
And Seth Rogen was serious about his caption. As his comments were flooded with racist people disappointed in Seth’s stance, he didn’t care one bit. And as people started to comment that “All life’s [sic] matter”, Seth Rogen just had one message for them: Fuck you.
Of course, he added a bit of flare to his replies as more people started to flood his comments with anti-black comments, but his stance remained the same.
“Eat shit and fuck you, get fucked, fuck off, fuck u, fuck you and stop watching my movies,” were only some of the beautiful messages that Seth sent out overnight to his new haters.
In a longer message, one person claimed that: “#AllLivesMatter. People making this only about blacks. When it’s about all races of colour. Why do all these brutality videos only show the end? They don’t show wtf these people where [sic] doing to get in trouble in the first place.”
To this, Seth Rogen simply said: “Fuck off. You don’t deserve my movies anymore. Stop watching my shit.”
A perfect example of how white people should be using their privilege to challenge racist mindsets and go beyond just tweeting out #BLM and calling it a day.
