Newly minted Prime Minister Scott Morrison has a problem. Most Australians don’t know who he is, and those who do mostly remember him for locking up refugees and waving coal around in Parliament. If he’s going to have any chance of victory at the next election, he’s going to need to boost his profile ASAP.

Enter the public relations people. It’s their job to make ScoMo look cool yet down to earth. A strong leader who’s also a man of the people.  A visionary, but not someone who’s going to scare voters off with too many crazy ideas. Or, as the team at The Feed put it in a recent sketch: “a sexy yet relatable phoenix”

Freudian Nip comedians Jenna Owen and Victoria Zerbst play a pair of PR gurus stuck with the unenviable job of improving Scott Morrison’s public image. But a quick scan of his Wikipedia page shows they may have their work cut out for them.

“He eats meats pies, loves his footy team and having his mate round for a BBQ,” says Zerbst. “But he hates refugees, especially the kids, it’s chill if they die, and he loves God.”

Their solution: a daggy Dad hat!

“This hat for ScoMo is going to be what that baby was for Jacinda,” asserts Zerbst.

“Great job with that by the way,” says Owen.

“Thank you, I inseminated her myself,” Zerbst replies.
