Sampa The Great’s ARIA Award Performance Is Being Hailed As One Of The Best Ever
Truly magic.
Sampa The Great knocked just about everything out of the park and hurled the kitchen sink in for good measure with an incredible performance last night at the 34th annual ARIA Awards.
Performing from Botswana, the acclaimed hip-hop artist tore through ‘Final Form’, from her album The Return. She also included a deserved jab at the ARIAs themselves, saying at the beginning: “This industry — is it free, for people like me? Diversity, equity — in your ARIA board.”
The powerful performance is now being hailed as one of the best ever given on the award show.
