Put out your creepy Yule tree and fill your stockings with occult paraphernalia, because The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is dropping a Christmas episode called A Midwinters Tale. A Sabrina Christmas special? Seems off brand — but it isn’t.
The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — you never know what might come down the chimney…
As with all Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina episodes, this is no lighthearted, cheesy Christmas special: it’s actually a beautifully creepy ghost story, and a perfect re-entry back into the world of Sabrina. We pick up where we ended, with Sabrina having just signed her name into the Book of the Beast.
