RnB Fridays Live is returning this November for its fourth and arguably biggest year — headlined by none other than Janet Jackson, in her first Australian shows since 2011.

With stops in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, RNB Fridays Live is bringing out massive names alongside Jackson, who is heading to Australia off the back of an acclaimed Vegas residency, and is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her landmark album Rhythm Nation. She’ll will be joined by The Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent and Jason Derulllooooooo, for starters.

Also playing is songwriter-turned-star Keri Hilson, Sisqo of ‘The Thong Song’ fame, and J-Kwon — the man behind early ’00s hit ‘Tipsy’. Scott Morrison’s favourite MC, Fatman Scoop, will host the proceedings, while DJs Horizon and Yo! Mafia will keep things moving between sets.

One more mystery act will be announced at a later date — and all acts are exclusive to the festival.

It’s a big return for the festival, which last year came under fire after thousands of attendees to the Melbourne leg of the festival demanded a refund, citing sound and visual issues alongside ‘disgusting’ facilities and a no-show from Scoop, who was advertised as MC.

Tickets are on sale from Monday 19 August, with multiple pre-sales being available from Monday 12 and Wednesday 14 August. You can find more details on The RnB Fridays Live site.
