This Sneaky ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Trick Gives You The Best Horse
Red Dead Redemption 2, the latest video game in the Barbie Horse Adventures series, places a lot of emphasis on your equine companions. Though there’s a glitch that gives players infinite money, money can’t buy you the best horse until you’ve already finished the game. Fortunately, there’s also a glitch for that.
Horses are wily, possibly demonic creatures that cannot be adequately understood by the laws of nature. Red Dead Redemption 2 demands you bind up to four of these hoofed tricksters to yourself in an unspoken contract, granting you faster transportation and granting them your immortal soul. However, not all hellspawn are equal, and different horse breeds have different attributes.
The Dapple Dark Grey Hungarian Halfbred is a warhorse, so it’s slow but hardy with a lot of endurance. The Palomino Dapple American Standardbred is a racehorse, so it’s fast but doesn’t have a lot of health or stamina. The Chestnut Tennessee Walkers is a riding horse, so it just sucks overall. And the best horse, the steed that that possesses not only excellent speed, stamina, health and acceleration, but a noble bearing as well, is the Rose Grey Bay Arabian — a superior horse.
Usually, the Rose Grey Bay Arabian can only be purchased from Blackwater Stable after you’ve finished the game’s main story, provided you’re willing to shell out a whopping $1250. As such, players have made much of the White Arabian, which is also a fine horse and can be found and tamed for free after Chapter 2, wandering the wild to the north of Lake Isabella, north-west of Valentine. But the White Arabian is no Rose Grey Bay Arabian, and an exploit is now letting players obtain the king of horses during Chapter 2, free of charge.
There is a spot in St. Denis where you can find ALL horses randomly spawn. Save nearby, exit the game and reload to have new ones spawn. Found grey andalusians, silver dapple foxtrotters, black arabians, etc. in Chapter 2/3 there. from reddeadredemption
Discovered by redditor Cerusia, a location in the eastern city of St Denis will randomly spawn different horses when you reload the game. Just save your game while you’re in the area and then go check out the horses. If there aren’t any to your liking, reload your save for another spin at the wheel.
Several players have reported acquiring the Rose Grey Bay Arabian using this trick, as well as any other horse that takes their fancy. Of course, it will likely take a lot of reload attempts before the majestic steed appears, but it’s a good option if you have a lot of time and a desire to ride the best horse before you actually finish the game.
