Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘WAP’ may have been released just over a month ago, but in that short time, it’s spawned a thousand, meme-ready remixes, mash-ups and covers. But now, actress and playwright Rachel Harper has entered the ring with her own cover to end all covers, featuring spot-on impressions of Céline, Adele, Ellie Goulding and more.

Harper, a Welsh writer based in London, blitzes through the song with twelve stunning impressions. In addition to the above, Dolly Parton, Gwen Stefani, Billie Eilish, Shakira, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera all make appearances — as do Julie Andrews, and, in a slightly odd pick, Ellen Page. The end result is simply sublime.

Harper’s ‘WAP’ cover is far from the first to gain our attention. Since the song’s release, it (and its star-studded music video) has caused massive faux-controversy as conservatives seized on its defiant explicit sexuality for pearl-clutching purposes. There were a lot of embarrassing responses, but none more so than Ben Shapiro reading out the lyrics and trying to tear apart the song by revealing his wife stays dry during sex — the moment, of course, inspired its own remix.

Then there were the mash-ups and genre-clashing covers: Nickelback, Britney’s ‘Toxic’Super Mario 64, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ’80s R&B and that god-awful Biffy Clyro cover. It’s never ending, but we never want it to end, such is the power of ‘WAP’.

In fact, the song might be a little too powerful — last week, an Australian man called into a radio station to reveal the song helped tear his marriage apart. We’re going to need more than a bucket and a mop to clean whatever that is up.

Enjoy Harper’s impression led ‘WAP’ cover below. She’s been overwhelmed by the response.

“This is my party trick that I have always wanted the make an act but never been brave enough to put out there so let me just tell you the positive responses are absolutely making my weekend,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Thanks pals.”
