‘A Current Affair’ Has Apologised To The Queen For Implying She Takes Horse Drugs
"We do not suggest the Queen is using ivermectin."
Channel Nine has issued an apology to Queen Elizabeth II after an error on a recent episode of A Current Affair, in which it was accidentally implied she used the drug Ivermectin after contracting COVID-19.
The 95-year old monarch is currently experiencing “Cold-like Symptoms” after contracting COVID-19, according to a statement issued by the Royal Palace on Monday. Fears for the 95-year old Monarch’s health were initially sparked after Prince Charles tested positive for the virus earlier in the week.
The goof happened as stock footage of the drug Stromectol — shown in the clip to contain 3mgs of Ivermectin — was accidentally broadcast on an episode of A Current Affair, in an interview with Australia Medical Associate head Dr Mukesh Haikerwal concerning the Queen’s COVID-19 diagnosis.
The Queen of England was treated for covid with ivermectin.
I’m no fan of the royal family but I honestly had no idea that she was a horse.

Channel 9 corrected their slip up with an apology stating that the clip featuring the notorious drug had aired as a result of “human error”.
“We did not intend to suggest Dr Mukesh Hawikerwal [sic] endorsed Stromectol. We’ve apologised to him this morning and he has accepted that apology,” a spokesperson for the media company said in a statement, as reported by The Guardian. “We do not suggest the Queen is using ivermectin.”
Despite the apology, anti-vax groups — some of which believe that Ivermectin is a valid method to treat COVID-19 (it’s not) — were quick to take the footage as further proof of the drug’s effectiveness.

The notorious horse paste has been historically championed by the likes of Joe Rogan — despite overwhelming evidence from the FDA that the drug is not approved “for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals” can be highly toxic in humans.
You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it. https://t.co/TWb75xYEY4

The Royal Palace has since confirmed that Lizzy is doing okay and is “expected to continue light duties”, despite false reports from Hollywood Unlocked that she’d carked it overnight.
