Pornhub Has Released Its Year In Review, And Wow, You’re All Horny For Fortnite

Porn behemoth Pornhub has released its annual year in review post, courtesy of the surprisingly safe for work Pornhub Insights, and here are all the… juicy details. Sorry.

It was, unsurprisingly, a big year for porn, with a total of 33.5 billion visits to Pornhub in 2018 — that’s 5 billion more than last year. TO break that down even further, that’s 92 million visitors a day — that’s almost four Australias!

Pornhub By The Numbers: A Deep Dive

• Every minute, 63,992 new visitors arrive on Pornhub.
• Two hours of new content are uploaded every minute.
• Some of this year’s top searches include ex-Trump mistress Stormy Daniels and popular game Fortnite.
• Other newly trending searches in 2018 included ‘4k’, ‘romantic’, ‘trans’, ‘outdoor’, ‘tattoos’, ‘Tinder’, ‘Bowsette’ and the classic ‘threesome’.
• Other (more standard) top searches include ‘lesbian’, ‘hentai’, ‘MILF’, and ‘step mom’.
• The most searched for porn stars included Lana Rhoades, Abella Danger, Adriana Chechik and of course, Kim Kardashian.
• The most popular porn star was male porn star Jordi El Nino Polla, followed by Johnny Sins, James Deen, Rocco Siffredi and Mandingo.
• As you’d expect, the United States was Pornhub’s top country for traffic, followed by the UK, India, Japan and Canada.

• The average visitor stays on Pornhub for 10 minutes and 13 seconds.
• Visitors from the Phillippines last the longest at 13 minutes and 50 seconds, while Australians are slightly below average at 10 minutes and four seconds.
• The most popular day to watch porn is Sunday, while Fridays have the lowest traffic, and the most popular time to watch porn is between 10pm and midnight.
• The most viewed categories on Pornhub are lesbian, Japanese, MILF, ebony and hentai.

Now, Let’s Talk About Gay Porn

Ok, now that all those straight people are gone, let’s talk about the fun stuff.

The most popular gay (male) search on Pornhub this year was ‘Korean’, which took over from ‘Japanese’. Other popular gay searches included ‘black’, ‘daddy’, ‘straight’, ‘Asian’, ‘twink’, ‘massage’ ‘cartoon’ and ‘bareback’.

Other trending searches this year included ‘Fortnite’, ‘OMG his dick’ (up a whopping 3481%), and ‘dick robber’. I don’t know either.

The most popular gay categories are ‘straight guys’, ‘black’, ‘daddy’, ‘bareback’ and ‘big dick’, while the most popular gay porn stars are William Seed, Armond Rizzo, Rocco Steele, Austin Wolf and Deigo Sans.

Porn For Women

Don’t believe the stereotypes, women love porn too.

Twenty-nine percent of Pornhub’s visitors in 2018 were women — that’s an increase of 3%. The most popular countries for women visiting Pornhub are the Philippines, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico and Australia —  go us!

Female visitors to Pornhub are most likely to search for ‘lesbian’, followed by ‘Japanese’, ‘hentai’, ‘Korean’ and ‘threesome’. And some new trending searches for women included ‘Fortnite’ (again), ‘lesbian strap on’, ‘tinder’, ‘trans’, ‘tattooed’ and ‘ASMR’.

The most popular categories for women are ‘lesbian’, ‘threesome’, ‘Japanese’, ‘big dick’, and, unsurprisingly, ‘popular with women’. Compared to men, women are more likely to view porn containing the words ‘pussy licking’, ‘solo male’, popular with women’, ‘lesbian’, and ‘gangbang’.

The most popular pornstars among women are Stormy Daniels, Mia Khalifa, Johnny Sins, Dani Saniels and Riley Reid.

How We Watched Porn In 2018

Seventy-one percent of Pornhub visitors cranked it while watching on a mobile phone, compared to almost 20% on desktop and 9% on tablet. Seventy-seven of Pornhub desktop visitors were using Windows, compared to 15% on Mac OS. Fifty-four percent of mobile visitors were on Android, while 44% were on iOS.

Chrome is bar far the most popular web browser (57%), followed by Internet Explorer, which is the weirdest thing on this list by far (9.4%) and Firefox (9.6%).

Meanwhile, a lot of people love searching for fictional characters and celebrities in porn. The most popular celebs searched for were Stormy Daniels, Kim Kardashian, Blac Chyna, Lena the Plug, and Nicki Minaj. The most popular movie and TV characters were Harley Quinn, Elastigirl (from The Incredibles), The Incredibles themselves, Star Wars and Family Guy.

The most popular video game characters were Bowsette, Brigitte from Overwatch, Lara Croft, Mercy from Overwatch and Zelda.
