‘Parasite’ Is Coming To Stan And Everyone Is Very, Very Excited
If you haven't seen 'Parasite' yet, here's your chance.
In case you forgot, it was only two months ago that Parasite absolutely cleaned up at the Oscars.
Two of the longest months of our lives, but still.
It was unequivocally 2019’s must-watch movie, but if you still haven’t seen it you’re in luck — it will be available to stream this Saturday on Stan, months ahead of its intended release.
Because @StanAustralia understands what isolation entertainment we need, Saturday the 11th April will see them drop PARASITE. We stan.

Parasite centres on a poor Korean family who scam their way into working for the obscenely wealthy Park family, giving them access to their luxurious home in Seoul.
The film is driven by this staggering wealth inequality, a critique that might feel a bit close to home for those shouldering an unequal burden of the coronavirus’ economic downturn right now.
We really can’t say much else about the film without ruining it — but you can read the spoiler-free review and interview Junkee did with director Bong Joon-ho when it was first released here.
In February it took home four coveted little gold statues including one for Best Picture, making it the first foreign language film to ever win an Oscar in that category.
Parasite's scene of how the heavy rain affected the rich and the poor differently was one hell of an allegory that decided to be super on the nose for 2020 huh

Parasite will be available on Stan from Saturday, April 11.
As dad Kim Ki-Taek says in the movie, “glory to the holy WiFi!”
