E3 — heaven in the form of a series of queues to play unreleased video games while everyone watches over your shoulder —  kicks off in a big way today. Following conferences from EA, Bethesda, Xbox and the Immortal Keanu Reeves, Devolver, Ubisoft, Square Enix and more, doors will be flung open and controllers will soon be covered in a thin film of gamer sweat. I cannot wait.

But first — Nintendo had some announcements to make. I, for one, was thrilled to learn my Stardew Valley machine is actually called a “Switch”, and you can play other games on it!

The lineup is jam-packed — we’re talking Pokémon SwordPokémon ShieldLuigi’s Mansion 3The Legend of Zelda: Link’s AwakeningMarvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black OrderFire Emblem: Three HousesAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsAstral Chain and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

There’s also The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics from Netflix (yes, that Netflix!), a new Contra game, and Trials of Mana
