The man behind Game of Thrones has a new TV show coming out and — surprise! — it looks crazy, crazy violent.
Nightflyers is a sci-fi horror story adapted from a 1980 novella by George R. R. Martin, the same guy who created and then brutally murdered all your favourite characters on HBO. The series follows a spaceship crew tasked with making contact with an alien vessel at the distant edge of the solar system.
You’ll be shocked to learn that things do not go well for them.
“Nightflyers is a haunted house story on a starship” explains Martin in a one-minute behind-the-scenes clip that also teases some gory looking footage. “It’s Psycho in space”.
Nightflyers will air on Netflix later in the year.
