Nick Murphy Has Recreated The Viral Fleetwood Mac Skateboarding Juice Video
The man formerly known as Chet Faker knows how to vibe.
If you’ve indulged in a little scrolling over the weekend, you might have seen this glorious video of a man skateboarding while listening to Fleetwood Mac and casually drinking some cranberry juice.
When written down, that concept sounds quite boring — a little odd maybe, but nothing unusual by the internet’s standards. Of course, if you’ve seen it, you’ll know it’s something else entirely: a curiously beautiful moment of a man totally at ease with the world. It is completely, utterly, a vibe.
The TikTok, by Nathan Apodaca (AKA @420doggface208), went completely bonkers over the weekend, resulting in Apodaca being dubbed The Vibe King.
I don’t use this verbiage often but this is a whole vibe. simple as that pic.twitter.com/NfdLsgLkxu

It was only a matter of time until someone recreated this moment of bliss, and that moment has arrived. Nick Murphy, the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, shared a video on Instagram of him replicating the moment, complete with the quick swig of cranberry juice and ‘Dreams’ playing in the background.
He doesn’t get the camera angle quite right — it’s pointing right up at his chin instead of down — and he looks slightly more apprehensive than Apodaca about trying to skate and drink juice simultaneously, but it’s a fine effort all the same. Watch it below.
Murphy’s last release was the fully instrumental album Music For Silence, which he dropped back in March without any warning.
“This record was deeply cathartic process for me,” he said at the time of its release. “I was in a really bad place with myself. I thought id [sic] broken something inside my chest and all I wanted to do was get as far away from everything as possible. It felt like a split stone.”
