Fridays are stacked with new music releases at the best of times — but you might have to cancel your plans for the rest of today, because it seems like every other pop juggernaut has dropped new tracks.

Let’s start with the big returns. Katy Perry has popped up on a few tracks since her so-so 2017 album Witness, including the Zedd collab ‘365’, but today marks her first single from an upcoming album/era, titled ‘Never Really Over’.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has released a six-track EP She Is Coming, featuring the likes of Ghostface, RuPaul, Swae Lee, and Mike WiLL Made-It. Cardi B also dropping a new song, ‘Press’, off her new (yet untitled) album promised for later this year.

Mark Ronson is making his, uh, mark today, too. ‘Find U Again’, a collab with Camila Cabello, has arrived, as has protégé King Princess‘ latest single, ‘Cheap Queen’.

Charli XCX, despite releasing a collab with Lizzo just a fortnight ago, is back again this week. We’ve been delivered ‘Spicy’, an interpolation of the Spice Girls‘ ‘Wanabe’ made with Diplo and Herve Pagez.

Plus, Kim Petras and Madonna have both continue to drop singles ahead of impending albums, and Tove Lo and Rosalía have singles out, too. Bebe Rexha and The Chainsmokers also set their collaboration free, too.

Away from the internationals, a stack of locals have new music out today — including old favourites Art vs Science with ‘Zeus In The Architecture’, Canberra’s Moaning Lisa with ‘Take You Out’, KLP with ‘Heater’, and so, so many more.

Phew, did we miss any? We don’t think we did, but either way, it’s best to listen to Noteworthy, our weekly Spotify playlist, and hear them all for yourself.
