Netflix released a key piece of subscriber data as part of its Q3 earnings report, and it turns out you people really like romantic comedies.

The streaming service is notoriously secretive when it comes to viewer numbers, but I guess in this case they wanted to brag about the fact that more than 80 million people, or more than 58 per cent of its subscriber base, watched at least one original rom-com on the platform in the last few months.

Popular titles include Set It Up, The Kissing Booth, Like Father, Sierra Burgess Is a Loser and of course To All The Boys I’ve Loved BeforeThe latter was described by the company as one of its “most viewed original films ever”, and was also touted for attracting “strong repeat viewing”.

I can’t imagine why…

Netflix also confirmed it is already in production on “the next set of original rom-coms”, because the content never stops.

It. Never. Stops.
