Detroit producer Marc Kinchen is riding a high right now.

His latest single ‘Back & Forth‘ (featuring Jonas Blue and vocalist Becky Hill) is currently taking over club charts, which makes a nice follow up story to his last platinum-selling single, the globe-conquering ’17’.

He’s currently gracing our fair shores with a stack of shows up the east coast (after headlining Sydney’s Harbourlife last weekend), before heading back to Europe and North America. Before he leaves the country, we thought we’d hit him up to find out some of his favourite tracks of 2018.

The playlist MK came back with was decidedly geared towards the sound of summer, and features a stack of top-shelf house tracks from producers like Marco Lys (“‘I Heat Up’ is just a great dark track that works in any setting,” MK told us) to Solardo and Camelphat (“Camelphat and Solardo have once again crushed it”) and newcomers like Michael Bibi (“He’s on fire right now.”)

Of course, he also threw in his dub remix of ‘Back & Forth’ and the original 2017 mix of ’17’ for good measure — because what summer house party would be complete without them?

Get stuck into the playlist below.

MK will play Brisbane and Melbourne over the next few days. For all details, head here.
