Watch In Horror As Michael McCormack Raps About Vaccines On ‘Sunrise’
How do you do, fellow kids?
We all saw how well the government’s last marketing campaign went down in #milkshakegate, but the latest suggestion by Michael McCormack is a rap about COVID vaccines to reach youngins.
The Deputy Prime Minister went on multiple breakfast shows this morning to respond to four new community cases in Melbourne, and viral overseas vaccine campaigns.
On the Today show, McCormack was asked if he could rap, to which he replied no, which is the honest to god truth.
“Getting young people encouraged to get out and get their jab is important,” McCormack said to co-hosts Kyle and Ally. “Maybe ScoMo or someone could do a bit of a rap.”

He was later egged on by Sunrise host Kochie, and gave a demo of a jingle and jive that could encourage young people to get vaccinated — despite most not currently being eligible to receive the jabs.
Deputy Prime Minister @M_McCormackMP has suggested the federal government create a "rap" to encourage young people to get the coronavirus jab.

“You know, you know, make sure you get the jab, y’know,” the deputy Prime Minister said, in an attempt to spit fire with a coinciding dab-esque move.
I'm getting ripped tonight

I’ve already done a little rap this morning, I won’t subject your viewers to it, oh well, you know, make sure you get the jab, you know. https://t.co/mDyQSUWpHc— courtney gould (@heyycourtt) May 25, 2021
Despite debunked rumours of young Melburnians in the northern suburbs potentially being eligible for vaccines yesterday, the only states currently offering unconditional jabs for everyone over 16 are the Northern Territory and South Australia.

The recommended vaccine for younger people is still Pfizer once later phases of the rollout accommodate the age group. Over 50s countrywide are eligible for AstraZeneca jabs.
Until then, I’m challenging ScoMo and McCormack to a jab rap battle.
