Maybe The Best Photo Of Bill Murray Ever?

Plus other original Saturday Night Live cast members, just hanging out around Times Square in the '70s.

The New York Times has just published a series of photographs taken in the ’70s by Kenneth Siegel, courtesy of the Collection of New York Historical Society.

Most are wonderful photos of everyday passers-by at Times Square, but a few capture the original cast from Saturday Night Live walking around after filming. And they are great.

This one is of John Belushi hanging out with some friendly cops:

This one is of Bill Murray using his belly button as a mouth to entertain Gilda Radner:

And this one is of a bunch of them — Gilda Radner, John Belushi, Laraine Newman, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris wand Bill Murray — eating souvlaki.

Apparently those table manners weren’t a huge stretch for Belushi when he was playing Jake Blues in The Blues Brothers.
