If there’s one thing that ex-triple j hosts Matt and Alex are known for, it’s their knack when it comes to practical jokes.
The pair have spent their entire on-air career pulling elaborate pranks on various unsuspecting people. Who could forget, for instance, the time that they tricked a fellow presenter into performing on-air for an audience of absolutely nobody?
Or what about the time that they pulled one over all of us with their bait-and-switch cover of Seal’s ‘Kissed By A Rose’ for their final Like A Version?
Now, the pair have turned their sights on a new victim: national treasure Chris Hemsworth.
See, the boys are back with a brand-new morning podcast, designed to fill viewers in on the news, culture and politics of the day. At the end of their very first episode, however, the pair sneak in a quick little jab at Hemsworth, encouraging their listeners to go over to his Instagram page and flood it with comments about preferred breakfast recipes.
Within hours, Hemsworth’s page was flooded with people sharing some pretty delicious recommendations for a nutritious and well-rounded early morning meal.
Better yet, all those comments have been localised to one image — a picture of Hemsworth cradling a koala.
