Malcolm Turnbull’s Going On ‘Q&A’ Next Week, Please Brace For Drama
Thursday November 8!
This is your personalised Political Drama Alert: Malcolm Turnbull is going to appear on Q&A next week, all by himself.
Given that our former Prime Minister has spent the past few months being a real messy bitch who lives for drama, I think it’s safe to say this is going to be an extraordinary Q&A episode. After all, since he was ousted from the Prime Ministership back in August, he has:
- Quit as Liberal MP for Wentworth, triggering the by-election that lost the Coalition the blue-ribbon electorate.
- Called Kevin Rudd and Tony Abbott “miserable ghosts”
- Lobbied Scott Morrison in an attempt to have Peter Dutton referred to the High Court
- Stood quietly aside while his son urged voters to ditch the Liberal government
- Had a nice holiday in New York while the remains of his government crumbled
That’s quite a lot of shit-stirring for two months, and as the Q&A organisers mildly put it, there are just “so many questions left unanswered”.
Q: Mr Turnbull would you say you were Australia's greatest Prime Minister?
Turnbull: Hmmm yes I would thanks for asking

Turnbull will appear on Q&A to answer those questions next week on Thursday, November 8, at 8pm AEDT. You can watch the carnage on ABC and iView, and we highly recommend you do. If you’d like a shot at a seat in the studio audience, you can apply for one here.
