Pure Force Of Chaos Machine Gun Kelly Accidentally Stabbed Himself Trying To Impress Megan Fox
“The next morning, as soon as she left, I was like, ‘Yo, I need stitches real quick'."
If there’s one gift that 2021 has given us, it’s the relationship between Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.
A modern day Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie, the pair have taken to gloriously oversharing in the media, describing the ins and outs of their wild relationship to the (somewhat confused) delight of all. First, there was the infamous, “I am weed” comment from Machine Gun Kelly, an instantly memeable declaration that took over the internet for days. Then there was GQ‘s The Couples Quiz, in which the two hilariously picked apart their knowledge of one another to frequently chaotic results.
And now, thank goodness, we have been rewarded once again in the form of an interview in which MGK has explained how an early attempt to impress Fox went horribly wrong.
See, MGK was gifted a knife by his good friend Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink-182, engraved with the title of the band’s album Tickets to My Downfall. Rather than just put the gift in a safe place, MGK decided instead to use it as part of an elaborate ploy to win Fox’s affections.
“You know how you throw up [a knife] and you’re supposed to catch it?” The singer asked Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on his show. “I looked at [Fox], and I was like, ‘Check this out.’ And I was like, ‘Ugh!’”
“The next morning, as soon as she left, I was like, ‘Yo, I need stitches real quick,’” he explained.
Truly, the man is a himbo for the ages, a delightful force of pure chaos that has never once said a boring word. Sure, the pair’s public displays of affection might sometimes grate, but it’s important to remember — what other couple is this blissfully unconcerned with how they come across in the media?
