In case you missed it, Melbourne-based graffiti artist Lushsux and 50 Cent have been beefing lately.

The conflict started between the pair following Lushsux’s decision to paint a bunch of 50 Cent meme murals. Painting the rapper as Taylor Swift, Mike Tyson, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Oprah and even Donald Trump, 50 quickly caught wind of what the artist was doing and often shared Lushsux’s work to his own Instagram page.

While 50’s general reaction to the murals is “WTF is wrong with this guy?”, he also often compliments Lushsux on his speed and technical ability. The rapper even went so far as to call Lushsux a “talented nut case” in response to his recent 6ix9ine mural.

As more and more art begun to pop up, the rapper started to jokingly caption his Instagram posts with comments about how the artist needed “an ass whoopin’ bad”. However, for those with a brain, everyone knew that this “beef” was never anything serious. After all, 50 Cent went out of his way to share every single artwork that Lushsux produced, whether he liked the way he was portrayed or not.

But now it doesn’t seem that benign, as Lushsux recently claimed he was attacked by six to seven people while painting a mural.

I don’t like to bring up all the bad stuff I have to deal with just to paint some ‘ha ha funny, you laugh now’ images on walls but I guess now is a chance,” Lushsux wrote on Instagram alongside a photo in a bloody hospital bed. “I constantly have to unwillingly fight people… on the street, who, for whatever cooked reason, seem to feel the need to come up to me at a wall and start trouble.”

“It’s tiresome, but it will not ever stop me doing what 99.8 percent of what everyone else seems to, for the most part, get a hearty chuckle out of, because they aren’t sociopathic pieces of shit,” he concluded.

50 seems to want some more walls? Unfortunately some 6 or 7 smoothebrains at one time on the street already put me in hospital already this month because of this shit. I dont like to bring up all the bad stuff I have to deal with just to paint some ha ha funny you laugh now images on walls but I guess now is a chance. I constantly have to unwillingly fight people ( among other insane shit you would not believe even if I told you ) on the street who for whatever cooked reason seem to feel the need to come up to me at a wall and start trouble. It's tiresome, but it will not ever stop me doing what 99.8% of what everyone else seems to for the most part get a hearty chuckle out of, because they aren't sociopathic pieces of shit.

After Lushsux shared his experience, 50 Cent post another photo of the artist work and insisted that he wasn’t responsible for the attack in question. In response, Lushsux said that he never thought the attack came at the hands of 50 Cent anyway.

“Just to clarify, I don’t blame Mr Cent for getting jumped,” Lushsux wrote. “I blame violent video games. We gotta ban that shit already.”

Phew, looks like our favourite unlikely “beef” of 2020 is still going strong.
