Get out your wallets, folks, because two of the biggest-ticket Australian tours have been announced overnight. Goodbye savings, hello pop stars! New Zealand indie pop princess Lorde, and the crowned prince of Brit-pop, Harry Styles, have both announced tours overnight, and they include a sojourn down under.

Readers, this is HUGE NEWS. For anyone who has been following Harry Styles’, former One Direction hearthtrob, ascendance to solo-artist power via his spicy new single ‘Sign Of The Times’, the news that Styles will be making the trip to Australia is pretty bloody exciting. The boy is a tomcat, and he knows how to put on a damn good show — those are just facts.

As for Lorde, her track-record as one of pop’s most exciting talents is pretty long-standing. The New Zealander has been teasing us for the past couple of months with a trickle of new releases off her highly anticipated upcoming album Melodrama. She gave us the iconic ‘Green Light‘, the croon-tune ‘Liability‘, sneaked in a cheeky performance of yet-to-be-released ‘Sober‘, and then released the Ultimate Teenage Song, ‘Perfect Places‘ (which I have been listening to on repeat in my apartment, sorry not sorry).

Lorde is no stranger to the Southern Hemisphere, of course, but news of her Australia tour is extremely important for those of us who are salivating over her, tbh, pretty solid (at least so far) upcoming album. We know the girl can perform live worth a damn, so we are here. For. This. News.

Both tours are coming to Australia within just months of each other. Lorde will tour Australia between 18-26 November 2017, and Harry Styles, who is already booked for two smaller shows at the end of November 2017, have just announced he will return to Oz for some bigger arena spectaculars (yesssssss) in April 2018.

Tickets for Lorde’s shows will go on sale 19 June, while Styles’ 2018 shows will begin sales on 25 June (his November shows are already on sale). Lorde’s teenage cool girl aesthetic and Styles’ neo-Mick Jagger chill are the perfect additions to Australia’s upcoming touring calendar. Now, to secure tickets . . .
