It's called 'Cold Pursuit' and it looks AMAZING.

Forget The Avengers. Forget Star Wars. Forget every single movie except this one. The trailer for Cold Pursuit, in which Liam Neeson plays a vengeful snowplow driver on a murderous rampage, has finally arrived. And it is everything I wanted it to be and more.

Described by producers as “a high-octane, action revenge thriller”, Cold Pursuit (original title: Hard Powder) stars Neeson as Nels Coxman, a “quiet family man and hard-working snowplow driver” who abandons the tranquil life to hunt down the gangsters who murdered his son. The gangsters all have extremely intimidating names like Viking and Speedo, so clearly they deserve to have trees dropped on their cars.

Before the trailer hit, some people joked that the movie sounded like a gritty reboot of the Mr. Plow episode of The Simpsons. But now that we’ve gotten a look at some footage… yeah, that actually sounds about right.

Cold Pursuit hits cinemas in the US on February 8.
