With the American midterm elections scheduled for Tuesday November 4, Rock The Vote — a non-profit organisation that aims to engage and inspire young people to actually show up at polling booths on election day  — is spinning into gear.

According to the campaign’s website, there are roughly 86 million American “millennials” in the US, making them potentially the largest voting bloc in the country — but an estimated 30 million of them stayed home at the last election. Their hope is that videos like the one below — which was released overnight, and features Lil Jon, Lena Dunham, Natasha Lyonne, Whoopi Goldberg, Fred Armisen, Devendra Banhart and more, in a cover of Lil Jon’s ‘Turn Down For What’ — will get new voters registered before next month.

Vote #1: ‘Lil Lena.

Also, Natasha Lyonne turning out for prison reform is all kinds of perfect.
