There’s been a whole lot of doom and gloom going on lately. But you know what’s never not funny? People getting called out for doing things they definitely shouldn’t be doing.

On top of that list is probably getting a handjob in the middle of a first year university lecture. But even worse than getting a cheeky handy during class, is getting called out during the act in front of everyone and having it recorded and posted online for all to hear.

And for some poor, embarrassed student at a Sydney university, this happened. Allegedly, during a Laws1000 lecture yesterday, a law lecturer called out a student for their handsy activity during class.

The best part? It was recorded through the lecturer’s microphone and uploaded online along with the slides from the class. Listen for yourself here:

Laughing to herself, the teacher stops the class. “Oh my God. Give me a minute guys, I just want to bleach my eyes and brain,” she starts. “Um, I love y’all but give me one sec. We’re going to have a talk now.”

“I know that precedent is a very sexy topic and I love when my audiences are excited and animated and engaged, dear Lord, but there’s a limit to that,” she continued. “If you’d like to have special love time with your partner, there are some perfectly sanitised and malleable bean bags over at MUSE, and I’m sure that there’s an empty cinema around here trying to make the movie Cats work that’s empty. Go for your life.”

“But, this is the second time I’m saying this in my career, no below-the-belt touching in my lecture theatre, please,” the lecturer continued to audible gasps and giggles by other students. “I’m not going to name and shame, but just to clarify this is a mentoring unit so I will give some sort of mentorship here. The strategic placement of the hoodie on the lap only draws the eye more.”

“I said I was glad they kept the university open today, but now I don’t know,” the iconic lecturer said before the video cut off.

The recording of the audio started circulating on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and the incident even found its way onto a popular student Facebook page.

While there’s really no way to verify the events that took place in yesterday’s lecture, the university in questionhas implored students to remember the code of conduct at the school.

“The University is aware of the alleged incident and the lecturer took the right steps to manage the incident at that time,” a spokesperson told Junkee. “We remind students of our Student Code of Conduct in relation to their behaviour.”

And with that, there’s one thing that we can be sure of: This will be a hard class to forget.
