St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is back for another year, with a stacked 2020 line-up headlined by The 1975 and Charli XCX.

Joining XCX on the international front is beloved rapper Earl Sweatshirt, Irish post-punk weirdos Fontaines D.C., and viral king BBNO$. That last artist is best-known for his single ‘lala’, which has blown-up the music sharing app Tik Tok, making him one of Laneway’s most trending acts.

As for home-grown talent, Laneway’s got local heroes DMA’s, well-loved for their Britpop inspired pop sounds; King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard; The Chats, the band behind the impossibly catchy ‘Smoko’; Hockey Dad, whose raucous live shows are already legendary; and Stella Donnelly, who has spent the last few years going from strength to strength.

Rising stars Col3trane, a British crooner whose silky voice has been compared to Frank Ocean, will also head out, along with New Zealand’s silky and upbeat Benee. Find the full line-up’s below — to quote Santana, ‘oh, it’s a hot one’.

Laneway 2020 will hit Auckland, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle and Sydney, where it has a new home: The Domain. All events but Sydney are 16+. Dates are also below, with tickets on pre-sale from Tuesday 24 September and general sale from Thursday 26 September.
