The Internet Lost Its Shit Over Some Dude’s “Lady Drawer”
Nothing screams you're special quite like an old pregnancy test and a communal dildo.
Sometimes finding makeup wipes at a mans house when you really need one is a great feeling.
But finding those wipes alongside a box of pregnancy tests, a dirty brush and a pink dildo is a little too much. Enter the “lady drawer”, a drawer full of lady-friendly items for “frequent guests” invented by Joshua, otherwise known as @DaddyAllDay on Twitter.
“I feel like every guy needs a ‘lady drawer’ if you plan on having frequent guests,” he wrote alongside a photo of a mismatched drawer full of all the things men think women want.

The entire contents of the drawer includes: A brush with another woman’s hair tangled around the bristles, two large tampon boxes, flushable makeup wipes, two bottles of nail polish remover, some scrunchies, an opened pregnancy test, and the pièce de résistance, an old pink dildo. Because, yes. Women these days don’t want respect or equal pay, we just want old pregnancy tests and communal desk dildos.
Naturally, when people online stumbled across the bizarre image, they were confused with what the hell was going on. Unsurprisingly, the presence of the dildo in the shared drawer is what left people most baffled.
do the frequent guests all share that same dildo LMAO https://t.co/hsiJ3yJddc

Ah yes the classic etiquette advice: make all your female friends, family, and hookups feel at home with (checks notes) two bottles of nail polish remover, an open pregnancy test and a used dildo

i'm obsessed with the concept of a communal dildo for house guests, but also, what woman needs TWO BOTTLES of nail polish remover for an overnight stay? Is she refurbishing a dining room table? https://t.co/caOgnSnRIs

As people starting questioning and criticising his “lady drawer” concept, Joshua took to Twitter to clear up a few questions. He explained that the drawer was simply comprised of “all that [he had] laying around”, and clarified that he wasn’t telling people to purchase these specific items.
In regards to the dildo, Joshua claimed that he doesn’t share that with his “frequent” lady guests because he knows “the importance of sexual health”.
For the record, I’m not saying to go buy all this shit. You really just need makeup wipes, tampons, hair ties, and a hair brush. I just had all that laying round so I designated a drawer for it.

For the record, I would never use the same dildo on multiple partners, as it is a fluid bonded toy. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I preach the importance of sexual health.

What About The Men?!
In response to the “lady drawer”, people begun sharing their visions for the equally necessary “fella drawer”. Filled with far less than what the ladies need, it was decided that men should at least be provided with some cigarettes, a broken comb, an empty beer can and some dishwashing liquid. Oh, and dirty ear bud and a tiny knife, of course.

After the “fella drawer” went viral, others took the opportunity to take the absolute piss out of Joseph’s idea for a “lady drawer”. Suggesting even better items to fill the “lady drawer”, people shared photos of pasta, nangs, and even My Chemical Romance CD’s. Basically, all the items women actually want when they visit a man’s house.

The meme then evolved even further, with people recommending other essential items for frequent guests like the “possum drawer” and always necessary “tampon lobster”.
