Koala Is Popping Up In Parks Around Sydney Tomorrow To Make Your Vaxxed Picnics Comfier
Did someone say free picnic goodies?!
Thanks to the latest update to NSW’s lockdown restrictions, springtime picnics are now something that anyone who’s fully vaccinated can do, regardless of whether or not they’re in an LGA of concern.
But lugging all your picnic gear to a park to sit on a damp patch of grass while ants pick away at your budget cheese board isn’t always the most comfortable thing to do.
So, knowing this reality far too well, furniture brand Koala has decided to run a bunch of surprise pop-up picnics around Sydney on Tuesday, September 28, to make your fully vaxxed picnics as comfortable as possible.
Tomorrow, Koala are offering some safe, chill, and comfy picnic experiences in a number of parks all across Sydney — which are, for once, promised to not just be in the CBD. And while we don’t know where exactly these parks will be just yet, Koala plans to announce the locations of their pop-ups on their social media tomorrow morning.
Plus, the furniture behemoth promises to provide an “all-inclusive”, “ultimate comfy picnic experience” to those who decide to come over for a picnic in the morning, during lunch, or after work. (This means you can most likely expect to get some goodies for the perfect picnic!)
Of course, people still have to adhere to local government guidelines, which means they need to be double vaccinated to picnic and must not leave their 5km radius or LGA to visit a pop-up location.
But as someone who is double-vaxxed, I’m definitely going to be rushing to my local park for some perfect picnic goodies during my extended lunch break in the sun. (But if you’re my boss, you didn’t see this.)
Keep your eyes peeled and check Koala’s Instagram page on September 28 to see which parks Koala will be hitting up.
