Trust us - she won't be playing these sized venues next time she's here.

Kim Petras is coming to Australia in two weeks to play the Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras official afterparty, but in case that’s past your bed time, she’s just announced two very small sideshows.

Petras, who has become a pop darling thanks to her snappy sugar-coated pop, recently released three singles, including ‘1,2’3 dayz up’, featuring fellow trans pop pioneer SOPHIE.

The trio marked the last of a pre-album era which has seen her drop one-off songs over the past two years alongside Turn Off The Light, Vol. 1, a Halloween-themed mixtape featuring legendary vampire Elvira.

While she’s here, she’ll play sideshows in Sydney at The Lair (in The Metro Theatre) on Monday 4 March, and in Melbourne on Wednesday 6 March.

While her continual collaboration with Dr. Luke has caused controversy (and prompted fans to ask Troye Sivan to drop her as a support on his US tour last year) Petras’ music has caught on, and it’s unlikely she’ll be playing these sized venues next time she’s here.

Tickets go on sale at 10am AEDT on Thursday 21 February, from MJR Presents.
