Khloé Kardashian Was Roasted To A Crisp For Trying To Tell People To Stop Using Plastic Bottles
Ah, yes. I love to take advice about the environment from someone who regularly uses private jets and owns about nine cars.
Khloé Kardashian, regular private jet user and owner of at least nine different cars, wants everyday people to start doing their part to save the planet!
Her solution? Well, according to Khloé we should stop using plastic bottles because it’s killing the environment. Unlike the personal jets that Khloé uses, which literally emit 10 times as much greenhouse gas than a regular plane passenger and 150 times more than someone who catches a train, it’s plastic bottles that “irk” Khloé.
In a series of Instagram stories, Khloé Kardashian shared her frustrations with people who fill up reusable bottles with plastic ones — and offered suggestions on where to get the equipment needed to create filtered water at home.
“There’s something that irks me is that I see people taking water bottles and they’re just pouring it into the gallon-sized reusable plastic bottle so they can consume their water for the day,” she said earlier this week.
“That defeats the purpose because those water bottles are just going to go in a landfill somewhere… we’re trying to limit our usage of single-use plastics.”
“I’m turning into Kourtney, but let’s save the environment for our kids.”
Khloe is really out here trying to shame her followers for using single use water bottles, when every party they throw looks like this (next tweet) 😒😒 This girl is too much pic.twitter.com/tBdqDeGH7U

While the complaint — of people using plastic bottles to refill reusable ones — does make sense, the message is tone-deaf when coming from someone like Khloé Kardashian, who single-handedly has a worse impact on the environment in a single year than most people do in a lifetime.
Beyond the private jet trips and massive car collection, the Kardashian and Jenner family constantly throw extravagant parties that are often filled with massive balloon displays and plastic cups — two single-use plastics Khloé seems to entirely overlook while shaming others for using plastic bottles.
And that’s not even mentioning the giant single-use plastic containers and utensils the Kardashians use when eating their infamous shaker salads. Or the fact that the organised pantry that Khloé Kardashian always bangs on about is full of single-use plastic share-sized snacks instead of “limiting her usage of single-use plastics” by dividing up larger bags into reusable containers.
It’s the same thing as corporations placing onus on individuals to catch public transport instead of driving or to stop eating meat to save the environment, when only 100 companies are actually responsible for 71 percent of the world’s global emissions.
Basically, the message was right but the messenger was wrong, and Khloé has been dragged for her attempt at criticising the environmental impact of others without looking at her own actions first.
Khloe Kardashian really dragged her fans because they use plastic water bottles.. meanwhile .. this was her baby shower pic.twitter.com/cjW50sNplI

NOT Khloe Kardashian lecturing me about single use plastic when she literally owns at least 11 cars and throws Gatsby gatherings every weekend with a minimum of 4,000 balloons

Khloe Kardashian is irked because you’re using plastic water bottles. I’m irked because Khloe Kardashian flys all over the world on private jets causing massive pollution. I’m irked because she decorates with thousands of balloons for parties. Hell, even her fingernails irk me. pic.twitter.com/3Bzf0qUuwL

In response to the criticism, Khloé Kardashian took to Twitter to defend herself, claiming that “people turn nothing into some thing [sic]”.
“I am constantly learning and trying to be better for the environment for the sake of my daughter. I am the last one to say that I’m super environmentally conscious because I know how much more I have to learn,” she tweeted yesterday.
“All I was simply saying is a pet peeve of MINE. I find it silly that people are pouring four to five single-use plastic bottles into a reusable container. It sort of defeats the purpose.”
Oh my! LOL What drives me 🤪 is that people turn nothing into some thing. It must be a slow news day. I am constantly learning and trying to be better for the environment for the sake of my daughter. I am the last one to say that I’m super environmentally conscious because I know

Khloé then added that she also sometimes uses plastic bottles herself and understands that it can be the only option for some.
“Sometimes plastic water bottles are the only option for some people and I totally get that. Sometimes it’s what I grab,” she admitted. “It’s not about being perfect. It’s about learning and hopefully making small changes for our future.”
“Hopefully we all do our part in our own ways. I’m proud of us all for doing our best and simply trying,” Khloé ended her tweet, adding that she isn’t shaming people as she is “a baby at this stuff” herself and is open to hearing “tips as to how to potentially make a change in our world”.
“I mean the drama over water LOL. I’ll keep my jug of water to myself moving forward.”

Considering Khloé Kardashian is keen to hear some tips, it’s probably about time someone told her to stop catching private jets and throwing events full of single-use balloons before trying to suggest what regular people should and shouldn’t do for the sake of the environment! Just a thought!
