If there’s one thing this pandemic has taught us it’s that there is a Kath and Kim meme for every isolation occasion.

Bored to death stuck inside the house? Kath can relate.

Dying to get legless again at the pub? Kim’s been there.

Can’t drown your sorrows with a Billabong because someone ate the last one? Welcome to Sharon’s world.

Now we’ve gotten a little insight into how Australia’s biggest hunk o’ spunk is handling the COVID-19 crisis, with Kel Knight making a short appearance on TikTok for a sneaky little coronavirus PSA.

In the minute-long skit Kel phones Kath before heading to the supermarket, and ends up covering a whole load of coronavirus-related topics — including Kath’s plans to dress up as Jacinda Ardern for bin night (an iconic cultural moment I’d pay to see).

In case you were wondering, yes, the Day-Knight household has hoarded enough toilet paper to fill an entire room.

The video came courtesy of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and his surprisingly active TikTok account, where the video was uploaded with the caption: “Make sure you leave some footy franks for the rest of us”.

Kel also makes an important point about the government’s COVIDSafe tracing app, which politicians are encouraging people to download to help slow the spread of the virus. So far it’s been downloaded by more than 5,2 million Aussies.

“Tell Kim to download the app —  if she doesn’t, tell her from me that she’s a nong,” he said.

Check out the full clip below for a good look at Kel’s trademark fringe, back in all its glory.
