Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham are putting everyone’s Instagram soft launches to shame as they officially pioneer the Keith Launch: making out in the background of a Keith Urban TikTok.

Over the weekend, Keith Urban posted a TikTok that shows him and Nicole Kidman having the time of their lives at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour from the safety of some kind of celebrity tent. I can’t tell what’s going on myself, but word has it the blurry figures in the background are in fact comedian Bo Burnham and musician Phoebe Bridgers, who have been a rumoured couple now for several months.

Bridgers apparently broke up with Normal People actor and noted Irish person Paul Mescal in December, which is when all of that Bo Burnham talk started.

It’s unclear how many more celebrity couples will continue to be announced this way, but I suspect that as we move forward it will become increasingly common. And one day it will be the norm. Of course, its not going to be easy — I, for one, have no idea where Keith Urban lives, or what he gets up to on a day-to-day basis, let alone how how you’d plan to get into the background of one of his TikToks, but the Keith Launch wasn’t meant to be easy, and I think that’s why it’s important.

Whether or not all of this happens at a Taylor Swift concert is up to you, but ultimately, what Phoebe and Bo (PhoBo?) have done is create a blueprint that a new generation of celebrities can look to, admire and hopefully — in time — emulate.
