Kanye West Has Furiously Dragged Pete Davidson In A New Freestyle Track

Well, the inevitable has happened: Kanye West has finally dropped a diss track about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s new rumoured beau, Pete Davidson.

Kanye and Kardashian broke up in December of last year, after seven years of marriage. They were one of the most famous couples on the planet, a pair of power-players who dominated the fields of art, music, and pop culture. Since then, the pair haven’t been totally estranged — Kardashian appeared at the Donda livestream event, and in fact, on that brand new Davidson diss track, Kanye makes reference to their continued closeness.

The song, which is a collaboration with fellow hip-hop heavyweight The Game, is called ‘Eazy’, and sees the two artists trading bars about the state of their lives and their plans for the future. It’s partway through the song that Kanye explicitly references his split with Kardashian. “N__ga, we havin’ the best divorce ever,” Kanye raps. “If we go to court, we’ll go to court together/Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we’ll go to Kourt’s together.”

That said, in typical Kanye fashion, not everything is peaceful. Ye sets a brief set of bars out of the way in order to throw shots at Davidson, who Kim Kardashian has been repeatedly photographed alongside since the split. There’s been no official confirmation that Davidson and Kardashian are actually dating, but that clearly isn’t enough to stop Ye from wading into the fracas.

Towards the end of ‘Eazy’, Kanye raps, “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”

It’s worth noting that Kanye too has seemingly moved on romantically from the split with Kardashian. He’s started dating Julia Fox, the star of the incredible Safdie Brothers’ film Uncut Gems. Indeed, Fox has been open about their whirlwind romance, sharing a multitude of details about her new beau, from the time he bought her an entire new wardrobe, to their mutual fondness for the film Zola.
